The 11th Sweden-Japan Academic Network (SJAN) Seminar was successfully held on March 14. The participants were warmly welcomed by remarks from the Secretary General of The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and the Ambassador of Japan in Sweden. The Director of JSPS Stockholm Office gave an introductory talk before the fascinating lectures on molecules and crystals, which were given by Profs. Makoto Fujita (The University of Tokyo) and Xiaodong Zou (Stockholms university). After a discussion with the lecturers, the participants enjoyed a mingle at the reception.
