February 21

On February 21 a seminar organized by The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA), JSPS Stockholm Office, Sweden-Japan Foundation (SJF) and The Embassy of Japan in Sweden was held. We are very happy that so many participants came to listen to Professor Tsutomu Miyasaka (Toin University of Yokohama, RCAST University of Tokyo), as well as other exciting lectures under the theme of solar energy.

The lectures was followed by a Q&A and a panel discussion, and the seminar ended with a reception.

Professor Tsutomu Miyasaka (Toin University of Yokohama, RCAST University of Tokyo) will give a lecture in Stockholm on February 21.

Professor Miyasaka has conducted research in electro- and photochemistry and developed highly sensitive photographic materials, lithium-ion batteries and photoreceptors. In 2009, Professor Miyasaka was awarded by the Ministry of Science and Education for his efforts in green sustainable solar cell technology.

The seminar is free of charge and open to the public. It will be streamed live.
