KVA-JSPS Seminar with Prof. Kumi O KURODA

Between the 24th and 26th of February, Professor Kumi O KURODA (Institute of Science Tokyo) was invited to Stockholm University, Uppsala University and Linköping University to give lectures in the collaborative seminar series “KVA-JSPS Seminar” organized by KVA and JSPS Stockholm. Professor KURODA gave three exciting lectures with the title “Parental Care and Infant Attachment: From Basic Neuroscience to Tech-Powered Parenting Support”. In each seminar, an information session about JSPS programs and alumni activities was also given by JSPS Stockholm. Approximately 100 people joined the seminar series in total. The participants had backgrounds in chemistry, nursing and psychology and were active in discussions following the lectures.

From February 24 to February 26, 2026, the Royal Swedish Academy of Science (KVA) and the JSPS Stockholm Office will jointly hold seminars at Stockholms University (Arrheniuslaboratoriet), Uppsala University and Linköping University. This year, Professor Kumi O Kuroda is invited to hold the lecture titled “Parental Care and Infant Attachment: From Basic Neuroscience to Tech-Powered Parenting Support ”
Additionally, an information session about JSPS programs and alumni activities will also be presented at each seminar, by JSPS Stockholm.
