Prof. Didem Gürdür Broo from Uppsala University, talked about Nature-Inspired Multi-Agent Learning, about symbiosis and co–emergence within robotics. Prof. Ilaria Torre, from Chalmers University of Technology, talked about communication and non-verbal interaction between robots and humans. Lastly, Prof. Elin Palm from Linköping University, had a lecture on the moral implications of decision-making by AI systems affecting human lives.
Just before lunch, Prof. Imre Pàzsit from Chalmers University of Technology and chair of SAC board, conducted a discussion on the future of SAC. The discussion circulated the future possibilities of having inter-disciplinary encounters and discussions, leading to more collaboration and knowledge exchange. Finally, the event concluded with lunch.
