Overview:
This program provides opportunities for young pre- and postdoctoral researchers to receive an orientation on Japanese culture and research systems, and to pursue research under the guidance of host researchers at Japanese universities and other research institutions over a period of 2 months during the summer.
Fellow Eligibility:
1. Be a citizen or permanent resident of Sweden
2. Be enrolled in a university graduate program,
or hold a doctorate degree received within the past 6 years
Terms of Award:
- Round-trip air ticket
- Maintenance allowance of JPY 534,000
- Research support allowance of up to JPY 158,500
- Overseas travel insurance
